For anything related to this policy or your personal data, contact us at admin@thegrowthpulse.io. We are the data controller for the personal data described below.
What this policy covers
This site exists so potential clients can apply to work with us, and so people can register for our free workshops. We don't sell anything here and we don't buy or rent contact lists. This policy explains what we collect when you use the Apply form, register for a workshop or contact us directly, how long we keep it, who might see it, and the rights you have over it.
Data we collect
When you apply to work with us
The Apply form asks about you and your business so we can tell whether we're a fit before a call happens. Depending on your answers, this can include:
- Your name, email address, and role
- Your company or brand name, website, and how you heard about us
- Information about your business: what it sells, its revenue range, how it currently generates revenue, and existing marketing assets
- What you're looking for from GrowthPulse: goals, timeline, and the investment range you're considering
We only ask for what helps us have a useful first conversation. None of it is sold or handed to third parties for their own marketing.
When you register for a workshop
The workshop sign-up form is provided by Sender (sender.net), our email service. We collect your name and email address, and any other details the form asks for. We use them to confirm your registration, send you the link, reminders and replay, and, where the form says so, to email you about our workshops and services afterwards. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time.
When you contact us directly
If you use the contact form instead, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message.
When you browse the site
We use Vercel Analytics to understand overall traffic. It's cookie-free and doesn't identify you individually.
We use Google Analytics (loaded through Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors find and use the site. It sets cookies in your browser and sends usage data, such as the pages you visit and your approximate location, to Google. It is on by default. You can turn it off at any time with Reject in the cookie banner, with "Cookie settings" in the footer, or by sending a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser. Your choice is saved in your browser for up to six months.
We use the Meta Pixel to measure the results of the ads we run on Facebook and Instagram. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Meta information about your visit, such as the pages you view, whether you sign up for our workshop, and technical details like your IP address and browser. Meta can match this to your Facebook or Instagram account, which lets us see which ads led to a sign-up and show our ads to people who visited the site. It is on by default, and you can turn it off at any time in the same ways as Google Analytics. When you sign up for a workshop, our server also sends that sign-up to Meta (through Meta's Conversions API), together with your IP address, your browser type and the Meta Pixel cookie IDs, so the sign-up is still measured if your browser blocks the pixel. This is not sent if you have turned advertising cookies off.
Why we process this data
- Application data, to evaluate your application and decide whether to invite you to a call. This happens at your request, as a step before any contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Contact form data, to respond to your message, on the same basis.
- Workshop registration data, to register you and send the workshop link and reminders (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), and, for follow-up emails about our workshops and services, based on your consent given on the sign-up form (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
- Analytics (Google Analytics), based on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). You can object and turn it off at any time.
- Advertising measurement (Meta Pixel), based on our legitimate interest in measuring the results of our advertising (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). You can object and turn it off at any time.
How long we keep it
- If we don't move forward after your application, we keep your data for up to 12 months in case a future fit arises, then delete it.
- If we start working together, your data becomes part of our client records and is kept in line with our contractual and legal obligations.
- Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry, unless you go on to apply or become a client.
- Workshop registrations are kept in Sender until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time, see "Your rights" below.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We use a small number of service providers to run this site and our operations, and they process data on our behalf, under their own data processing agreements:
- Vercel Inc., for hosting and site infrastructure
- Sender (sender.net), for workshop sign-ups and the emails we send you about them
- Resend, planned for sending application confirmations and replies. Not yet in use.
- Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (part of Meta Platforms, Inc.), unless you turn advertising cookies off. Through the Meta Pixel, Meta receives the data described above. We and Meta are joint controllers for collecting that data and sending it to Meta; Meta then uses it under its own Privacy Policy.
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where that's the case, the transfer is covered by the provider's participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by Standard Contractual Clauses, as GDPR requires.
We don't share your data with data brokers or anyone else for their own purposes, other than Meta as described above, and only while advertising cookies are on.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you can:
- Ask what data we hold about you, and get a copy of it
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data
- Ask us to restrict or object to certain processing
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
- Ask for your data in a portable format
To exercise any of these, email admin@thegrowthpulse.io. We'll respond within one month.
If you believe we haven't handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, or with Romania's Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (dataprotection.ro).
Security
We rely on providers, like Vercel, that maintain their own security standards, and we don't hold more data than we need or keep it longer than necessary. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or our tools change. The date at the top always reflects the latest version. If a change is significant, we'll make that clear here.
